Cadet Standard Operating Procedures
Expectations for Cadets at Meetings
Cadets are expected to arrive on time or early to meetings in their uniform of the day. Phones will not be used except during designated breaks and will be put away. Cadets are expected to take notes during lessons or presentations; most cadets carry a binder will notes, paperwork, and other documents. Cadets also must have their CAPID in order to be counted towards attendance.
Memory Items
Cadets are often expected to have certain knowledge information memorized or familiarized. The following information has been deemed pertinent for the cadets in Dungeness Unit to know.
Cadet Oath: "I pledge that I will serve faithfully in the Civil Air Patrol Cadet Program and that I will attend meetings regularly, participate actively in unit activities, obey my officers, wear my uniform properly and advance my education and training rapidly to prepare myself to be of service to my community, state and nation."
